A beautiful and surreal stone forest - a unique natural phenomenon in the world, better known as the Beaten Stones. They are one of the three geological sites in Bulgaria of recognized world importance and the first Bulgarian locality officially declared a natural landmark. Beaten stones were first documented in 1829 and have been the subject of ongoing research and discussion ever since. They have been known as an extremely strong energy center since ancient times and are a popular destination for therapists and biohealers from all over the world. In addition to the undeniable presence of positive energy, there are 240 plant species, some of which are very rare, 7 species of mammals and 21 species of birds.
